Research Description

Katherine received her Ph.D. in Evolutionary Biology from the University of Chicago in 2014. She is broadly interested in the evolution of social behavior. During her dissertation, she studied social evolution in ground-dwelling squirrels using behavioral, endocrinological and genetic techniques. At Columbia, she is working with Dustin Rubenstein as a Frontiers of Science Fellow and is studying social evolution in snapping shrimp. See CV here.
