Prerequisite(s): A graduate level Ecology course.

The course presents an overview of the methods of community diversity calculation and estimation. Following a brief introduction to conducting biotic inventories, half of the time during the course will be hands-on work in a computer lab so students can gain experience collaboratively analyzing data.
