Senior Lecturer and EB Program Advisor Matt Palmer is part of a team of scientists and educators that was awarded a three-year, $5 million grant from the National Science Foundation to create a Curriculum and Community Enterprise focused on restoration science with the New York City Public schools. He will be working closely with three cohorts of public middle-school teachers and colleagues from Lamont, the New York Harbor Foundation, Pace University, the Wildlife Conservation Society, the New York Academy of Sciences, and others.
