Each year, students in the United States compete for the EPA’s Science To Achieve Results (STAR) graduate fellowship program. Only a select few are awarded this fellowship each year to pursue degrees in environmental disciplines.
Current E3B PhD student Thomas Bytnerowicz has won an award for his project on the mechanisms responsible for symbiotic nitrogen fixing plants being able to reverse nitrogen limitation in some forests. Congratulations Tom !!
