Ellie is a PhD student in Columbia's E3B department and a fellow at the American Museum of Natural History in the division of Invertebrate Zoology. Her research focuses on insect evolution through the use of phylogenomic methods, with a specific interest in dragonflies (Odonata) and ice crawlers (Grylloblattodea).
