Georgina Cullman works to conserve the biodiversity of New York City within NYC Parks and in partnership with other stakeholders. As part of NYC Parks' Natural Resources Group, Georgina and her colleagues design and implement monitoring and research projects to inform management, policy, and design to make sure that current and future New Yorkers will continue to be able to enjoy high quality nearby nature. Urban ecology, social ecological systems, and restoration ecology form the basis for her work.
