I am an aspiring botanist, conservationist, and evolutionary biologist. While I find inspiration everywhere, my current work focuses on 1) sexual evolution in members of the genus Amaranthus and 2) the phylogeography of the federally threatened seabeach amaranth (A. pumilus).
Prior to coming to Columbia, I received my B.S. from UCLA (c/o 2021) and completed an ORISE Fellowship at the US Department of Agriculture.
