Ke Coco Deng is researching how spotted lanternflies communicate through substrate vibrations. As a member of the Brodie Bug Lab, Coco is interested in questions connecting animal behavior, ecology, management, and conservation. Prior to joining E3B as a master's student, she completed her bachelor's degree at Bard College at Simon's Rock. She has also previously worked as a seasonal technician for Project Puffin and Kauai Forest Bird Recovery Project.
